My story with Digital Marketing Nanodegree Program!

My story is traditional, it may sound boring but you will never be bored of it. Because it is not my story alone, you may find yourself in it too!

My name is Salma Mahmoud, I have been working in the marketing field for nearly three years. I thought that I had a good experience that I gained over the three years, whether from work or from multiple courses that I took from different sides .. The whole thing seemed to be going in the right way, but unfortunately I found out that it is not what I thought!

I decided some time ago to start a new experiment and leave my current job, I started searching and preparing a list of companies that are looking for an employee and I can apply for them, I gathered a list of companies and started reading the requirements at that time, I found a surprise waiting for me, many requirements that do not suit me and I do not know much about them despite my three years of experience Different steps from the ones I work on, many strange terms and other things, I submitted to a company at the time despite everything, but it also did not go as I had hoped.

I also thought at the time to start my own project and to move away from the field of working in companies, but it seemed more difficult at that time, while in companies you can find a team to help you. As for your work, you will complete the matter completely on your own, and if you are without experience, you do not expect to be successful at all .. Success is Not a coincidence, as you know

Then I asked myself what should I do?

It seems that destiny was my ally in that period as I found the Udacity scholarship for digital marketing and I read a lot of positive reviews about it from people who completed the course, I heard that there are three tracks that are challenging, professional, advanced, and I started browsing the tracks and knowing the programs available in each track, most I was impressed by the diversity in the content of the courses and its focus on many aspects of digital marketing such as e-mail campaigns, social media, specialized campaigns, writing elements and their different methods in one place without the need to browse a lot of other courses and also attention to the practical side of the theoretical side .. I wished if You know it early, but it's better to be late than not at all. You know, right?

I applied to the Challenge course at the beginning, completed it, then moved to the professional level and here I am on my way to complete the course shortly

I found myself in that marketing field more and more and I feel like my mind is more organized than before when I was receiving everything from everywhere without arrangement or organization at all.

After completing the courses, I feel that it will be easier than before. I will try to apply again for work, or maybe I decide to start my own business after a short time .. Who knows?

I nominated the courses to most of my friends as most of them were suffering the same thing and I hope that everyone who was suffering the same problem as mine will try it because I feel that it will be easier for them as well and we may become partners in the work at a later time .. Nothing happens by chance in this world you know!
